Contact Spheres

A unique character, caught in a downpour, gradually learns to feel at ease with the water: fear gives way to play, and the journey through the rain becomes a dance, a hymn to the element.

Miguinti Mandala arranges and scatters transparent spheres of various sizes among her fingers, as if they were liquid memories, guardians of precious information. Here, water is both a natural element and a metaphor for our inner emotions: it is a current to be crossed, a substance that bestows wisdom upon those who allow themselves to be touched by it.

“Gocce” is a contemporary circus performance in which the manipulation of contact balls and the interplay of light and shadow intertwine to create fleeting images, as fragile as reflections on a body of water.

Each performance arises from the unique encounter between the artist’s body and the setting that hosts it: landscapes, architecture, and spaces that become an emotional landscape and the living fabric of the narrative—an invitation to cherish what is precious, both within and without us.
